Amanda's House by Mandolin Foundation provides safe and supportive transitional housing that will allow people to become independent and productive members of our community. This will be accomplished by providing a safe place to live for up to two years.
Programming also includes a supportive environment with staff who will provide life skills training, substance use and/or mental health advocacy, and connections to relevant community resources.
Through the Mandolin Foundation, Amanda's House also offers Certified Peer Specialists - people who have walked the path of recovery for mental illness and/or substance use issues and who are employed to assist others in their journey to recovery. The Peer Specialist assists and guides clients toward the identification and achievement of specific goals defined by the client and specified in the individual treatment plan.
